On Friday April 4, 2008 CWA Local 1298 members showed their support in various ways.  Although weather conditions weren't condusive to standing outside,  members didn't allow that to thwart their efforts.   Some members met at the garages through out the state before their scheduled check in time and walked in at their scheduled hour together to show the unity.  In offices through out the state some members stood up at their desks at appointed hours.  Local 1298 members joined other AT&T locals in an effort to draw attention to the national theme "One Union, One Fight, One Future".
