My name is Tonya Hodges; I am the Vice President for   Commercial and Marketing.  Prior to becoming Vice President I worked in the New London CCC as a Service Representative and Chief Steward, Job Steward, and Business Agent for 12 years.  My goal is to uphold the collective bargaining agreement that was bargained for and set in place on April 2004.

For those of you who don’t know me – know that I am very passionate about my job, this Union and the members I represent. Commercial and Marketing is as strong today as it always has been.   The reason this department has the strength that it has is because of you the members.  The members of Commercial Marketing are, and have always been, engaged in the sometimes daily changes of our department. When we call on our members to take action, action is what we get, and for that I thank you.

In addition, Katie and I have an excellent team of Chief Stewards and Job Stewards who work along with us to make this department the best it can be.  We work very hard every day to make sure all of the provisions set fourth in our collective bargaining agreement are being administered and followed by the company.

In closing, I would like to tell you all that I have an open door policy and can be contacted any time, day or night.  There are no issues, comments or complaints I am not willing to hear.  In fact, I welcome them all; there is nothing more important than communication.  Lastly, I would like to thank you for allowing me to represent you.
