Date of Passing

William Walter Cuttler passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on April 2, 2020, following a year of declining health.

He was born on Jan. 28, 1952, in Bridgeport, to the late William and Doris Cuttler.

Bill is survived by his children, Mrs. Rachael (Gerald) Allderige of Wethersfield, William P. Cuttler of Gray, Maine., and their mother, Joanne; his grandchildren William and Tristan Cuttler and Tyler Alsdorf; step-granddaughters Megan and Michelle Allderige of East Haven; sisters Christine (Roger) McCann and Janice Cuttler, both of Florida; longtime friends Dave Gardiner, of Goshen, and Michael Conant, of North Haven.

Bill lived most of his adult life in Seymour before moving to Wolcott. He was retired from the telephone company after 46 years of dedicated service, working as an installer, lineman and his favorite position as a cable splicer following in the footsteps of his grandfather.

He was a Master Mason and a proud member of the Harmony Lodge No. 42 in Waterbury. In addition, he was a member of the Wolcott Land Owners Association, where he spent many hours perfecting his trap shooting skills. Many Sundays, you would find Bill taking a country ride on his motorcycle.

Services were private and entrusted with All State Cremation.
