A Message from the 1298 Election Committee
The Election process is underway for the Executive Board positions of President and Vice President Plant 2. There will also be a proposed bylaw amendment on the ballot regarding meeting notices. Please review the information carefully to ensure accuracy and follow the instructions provided.
The American Arbitration Association (AAA) will be mailing ballots today, Monday, October 16, 2023, with the deadline scheduled for 12:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023. The count is scheduled to take place on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the offices of the AAA located in New York, NY. Ballots will be secured by the AAA under lock and key.
Voters with missing or damaged ballots are directed to request replacements by calling the AAA Duplicate Hotline 1-800-529-5218 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This number is to be utilized only for duplicate ballot requests. Voters are asked to call no earlier than one week after the mailing of ballots, to allow sufficient time for the delivery of all ballots.
