On September 15th, electronic pin numbers were mailed to CWA members. Once received, CWA Local 1298 members are able to cast an electronic signature to nominate potential candidates through our CWA Local 1298 website (www.cwa1298.org). The Election Committee established this process to eliminate the need for in-person signatures due to COVID-19 precautions and to accommodate work at home members. Nominations will remain open until October 2nd at noon. Step by step directions are posted on the Website (1298 Election tab).
In order to participate in the nomination process, you will be required to provide the PIN number located at the bottom of your letter which is individual to you. If you do not enter the correct 4-digit PIN number during your selection of a candidate your signature will not be valid. If you do not have the letter with your 4-digit PIN, you can email the Election Committee at elect@cwa1298.org and they will provide it.
Please keep in mind that even if a candidate is running unopposed, they still need to get the required amount of online petitions completed.
