Over the last several weeks, we have been making our case to Frontier about how their outsourcing and contracting of work is impacting our bargaining unit. We also stressed the importance of coming up with a remedy that helps preserve our good Union jobs. We will continue to review the information the company has provided us, and we will also stay on top of the information requests that are still not filled. Over the next two weeks we will be meeting internally to discuss our Mobilization plans going forward.

We will not be meeting again with Frontier until November 20th. The company has some business conflicts next week, and our Executive Board will be at the CWA District 1 Conference the following week. This Conference is a good opportunity to meet with the other Frontier locals and our District 1 VP Dennis Trainor in person to continue planning strategies for Frontier bargaining. This is a good time to regroup and evaluate the outcome of the Frontier shareholder vote on the Verizon acquisition that is taking place on November 13th.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the Mobilization activities. Click here for the link to our pictures.
