On Thursday April 18th, CWA Local 1298 members attended a CT AFL-CIO training and then participated in Lobby Day at the state capitol where we talked to several CT state representatives and state senators to urge them to support this very important piece of legislation. House Bill 5164 would make striking workers eligible for unemployment benefits after they have been on strike for two weeks.
